Medical Extractions and Chemical Peel: Our esthetician will steam the skin to open up the pores; she will then manually remove black heads and white heads to clean the skin. A chemical peeling agent is then applied to the skin to further exfoliate and improve the appearance of the skin. Some patients experience a very mild redness lasting only one day after their treatment.
Blue and Red Light Therapy: Blue and Red LED Light are combined to kill the p. acnes bacteria that leads to acne and to decrease the appearance of red marks left behind from old acne lesions. The treatment takes 30 minutes and then is no downtime after your appointment.
Isolaz Laser Treatment: The Isolaz simultaneously uses a vacuum to open and clean out the pores and a light to kill the p. acnes bacteria. The treatments also help to reduce the red marks left behind after acne lesions clear.
Blue Light Photodynamic Therapy (PDT): PDT works by a few different mechanisms: PDT kills the p. acnes bacteria that lead to acne, it modifies the oil-producing glands that attract the p. acnes bacteria and reduces the redness from old acne lesions.
