
Joseph D. Sutton, M.D. has 42 years of experience as a practicing dermatologist in Suffern, New York and treats the spectrum of skin disorders, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer and aging. Dr. Sutton received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he received the Alpha Omega Alpha honor of being in the top 5% of his graduating class. His medical internship was at New York Mt. Sinai Hospital and he did his dermatology residency at New York University. He subsequently held the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
In addition to seeing patients in our Suffern dermatology office, Dr. Sutton is currently an attending physician and Chief of Dermatology at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York. Dr. Sutton also serves as Medical Consultant at Avon Products, Inc. and as the Principal Investigator to several Clinical Research studies.
Dr. Sutton has published many articles in various medical journals and continues to conduct clinical research on a variety of treatments for conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and acne. Currently, Dr. Sutton is participating in the Psoriasis Longitudinal Assessment and Registry Study and the Apples Study.
